The Fundraising Fellowship, Dublin is in full swing.

The four Fellows have two Seminars under their belts, with masterclass presentations on fundraising strategies and sponsorship strategies, and a focus on their own organisations and the need for strategic planning via artistic plans, KPIs and their organisational structures.

The organisations’ Directors have all written about their ambitions for their participation in the programme – Dublin Theatre Festival, Fishamble : The New Play Company, Helium Arts and Temple Bar Gallery & Studios – as has Helen Carroll from Business to Arts.

Alongside that, Dublin’s Culture Connects and Business to Arts are also focused on delivering wider value for Dublin community and arts organisations. In May 2016, an Introduction to Marketing for Community Organisations was very well received by the 35 attending groups.

A short video, narrated by Dublin City Councillor Rebecca Moynihan gives a whistle-stop overview of how to write a kick-ass marketing plan.

Interested groups are encouraged to have built their profile and implemented marketing plans in advance of the scheduled ‘Introduction to Fundraising for Community Organisations’ on 14 November 2017 at Wood Quay Venue. You can book your place by emailing

Community Groups can also apply to be selected for a 12 month Mentoring Programme. This programme will enable four local community organisations to develop their marketing, fundraising and/or strategic planning skills through focused mentoring, while also participating in a series of information sessions in November 2017, March, June and September 2018.
